Born and raised in Hong Kong, I spent 5 years in Minnesota, and have called NYC home since 2000. From drawing fashion figures since the age of 6, to making Barbie clothes in my teenage years, to studying fashion shows and making gowns for friends and families in high school years, I know being an artist and a designer was my true calling.

 

This led me to pursue my passion in the art and fashion capital NYC.  Upon moving to NYC, I was trained in an art & design school environment at Pratt Institute, where I earned a BA degree with the Marc Brower design award during graduation. The competitive yet collaborative environment prepared me to fully immerse myself into the fashion design industry. 

 

I first dipped my toes in womenswear, but opportunities arose and I discovered menswear was my true passion.  I have diverse experience in working with different markets from mass market to premiere worlds;  multiple menswear categories in wovens shirts, denim, outerwear, knits and soft accessories; multiple brands such as Joseph Abboud, Kenneth Cole, Van Heusen, DKNY, Calvin Klein, and the latest as the lead designer for Tommy Hilfiger tailored shirts category.

 

My diverse background and professional experience fosters adaptability and expansive critical thinking and I am ready to elevate my career and make a transformative impact in the industry.
